Workplace Registration Due
Communication and Professional Etiquette
This class meets Fridays 4-6pm PST, in office or via Zoom, July 7th – October 10th.
This 14-week program is specifically designed to teach older teens and young adults the soft skills we knew they were missing when they entered college or the workplace – the skills that are essential to surviving and thriving as an adult, such as:
- Understanding Personal Boundaries
- Listening
- Giving and Receiving Criticism
- Self-Advocacy
- Focusing
- Managing Rigidity
- Managing Sensory Challenges
- Emotional Regulation
- Personal Hygiene
- Business Etiquette
The course is taught in closed cohorts with a hybrid format (either in office or via Zoom) with a ratio of no more than 8:1 for a weekly two-hour period. Students are given a brief intermission in the middle of the class.
